it consists of single pot Aluminium calorimeter(100x75mm) placed in an outer wooden case. it is fitted with a bakelite top having hole for thermometer. two terminals connected to a heating coil( for current upto 2A) are fitted. it is supplied complete with stirrer but without thermometer. it is used to determine the specific heat of liquids and for verification of joule’s law.
