RIPPLE TANK

The apparatus is designed to study waves. It consists of a metal frame provided with a transparent acrylic tray and it can be used as standing bench model. This demonstration model can be used with an overhead projector or as an economical model. An illuminant unit is provided for illumination of ripples. Ripples are produced using a small motor fixed on a beam. Supplied with acrylic plates, barriers (4 Nos.) & Dippers. Power supply is not provided.

It is made of cardboard disc having dia. 24cm, disc provided with 12 slots and finger hole, pivoted on a ball bearing mount which acts as a handle.
