FIELD LINES AND EQUIPOTENTIAL LINES

Principle and Working:
An equipotential line is a set of points in space where each point has the same electric potential. In this setup, a voltage is applied between a pair of electrodes placed in a plastic trough filled with distilled water. The electric potential at different points is measured using a needle connected to a multimeter. These points are then marked on graph paper, aligned with a reference graph placed under the trough.
