Principle and Working:
The BPW34 is a high-speed, highly sensitive PIN photodiode in a compact flat plastic package. Its clear epoxy makes it responsive to both visible and infrared light. The large active area and flat casing ensure high sensitivity over a wide viewing angle.
In this setup, the photodiode’s behaviour under forward and reverse bias is measured for fixed irradiation. The variation of photo current with different light intensities is also studied.
