Principle and Working:
Diamagnetism is a property where materials create a magnetic field opposite to an applied field, causing repulsion. Paramagnetism occurs when materials align with and are weakly attracted to an external magnetic field. Ferromagnetism is the strong magnetization of materials like iron, even without an external field.
In this setup, the magnetic behaviour of Bismuth, Nickel, and Aluminium is observed by suspending them in a non-uniform magnetic field. Their attraction or repulsion indicates their magnetic properties.
