It consists of two steel rods supported on heavy cast iron feet with levelling screws. The horizontal rods are made of cold rolled steel on which close tolerances are maintained for straightness. It is nickel plated and graduation is in mm. It is supplied with saddles( Two fixed and two transverse ), two Double rod lens holder and two object pin. supplied Without Lenses.
